Camping &Bungalowpark de Papillon, Denekamp, the Netherlands
Camping &Bungalowpark de Papillon in Denekamp is the first camping in the Netherlands with a Spray Park. With the realization of the Spray Park de Papillon confirms both its award 'ADAC Superplatz' as its status as ANWB Eurotopcamping.
In the autumn of 2010 Watergames & More was approached to speak about how the swimming pool of de Papillon could be adapted to the demands of the present-day guests, and to the quality and appearance of the Papillon. Watergames& More designed a Spray Park for children up to 10 years.
For the Spray Park achoice was made from a wide variety of water play elements: high, low and groundsprays, many of which are interactive. The Tuney Tube can produce music when the children close the nozzles.
The logo of the Papillon comes back in a beautiful element in the shape of a butterfly and on the floor where a large, colorful butterfly is painted on a blue background.
For the water treatment, the existing installation, which was used for the toddler pool, was now used for the Spray Park. This resulted in substantial cost reduction during the realization, because a new, separate water treatment system was not necessary.
Next to the Spray Parkthere is a buffer, where the clean water for the Spray Park is preserved. The buffer also had a compartment made suitable as a technical room in which the control equipment of the Spray Park is mounted.
Zwembad de Vlaskoel, Tubbergen, the Netherlands
Swimming pool de Vlaskoel is an indoor swimming pool, with a large sunbathing area outside. To attract more visitors, there was a need for an attraction outside. The investment in an outdoor pool was too high and not feasible. The construction of a Spray Park was the right solution.
Watergames& More has developed a plan in which the water from the 25 meter pool could be used. Costs could be saved on a separate water treatment system, so the project could be made within the estimated budgets. Watergames & More has coordinated the entire project for the client. At the request of the client Watergames& More worked with a local contractor for construction work and with the ‘house installer’ for the technical installation.
The Spray Park was coloured in the style of the Vlaskoel, yellow and blue, with red accents. The Spray Park is largely interactive. Children can influence the spraying elements and can generate sounds with the groundsprays.
The water playground was completed with a playground and an air trampoline and around was a beautiful landscaped terrace with luxurious furniture. From the opening on July 7 onwards, the Spray Park is a huge success. De Vlaskoelnow has a fabulous attraction!
ZwembadLeussinkbad, Laren, the Netherlands
Leussinkbad had a toddler pool that needed to be renovated. They also wanted to add some Waterplay elements. After the first meeting with Watergames& More on the RecreationalTrade Fair in Hardenberg, the board of the swimming poolLeussinkbadwas very enthusiastic about the Waterplayelements.
Watergames& More designed a renovation for the toddler pool, of which half was kept as a pool, while the other half was provided with a number of attractive water features. The whole situation is, like all Spray Parks, controlled by a computer which children can influence with interaction.
A large part of the construction work was done by volunteers. The technical installation was done by the ‘house installer’ of Leussinkbad. The activities were coordinated by the Project Manager of Watergames & More.
Via this unique cooperation the costs were kept relatively low. The entire renovation, including the Spray Park, costaround € 55.000.
ZwembadSijsjesberg, Huizen, the Netherlands
After a thorough renovation Swimming pool Sijsjesberg in Huizen reopened in the spring of 2011. In the budget, available for the renovation, a Spray Park was also taken in to account, in combination with a toddler pool. For the Spray Park Watergames & More supplied the components and the technology.
